Today, the Catalan Water Agency (ACA) organized a seminar aimed at the local community and individuals involved in water cycle management. This meeting focuses on presenting practical solutions to mitigate the effects of drought and optimize water management through digitalization. During the event, experiences and knowledge about the digitalization of services, as well as the ordinances and regulations affecting water management, were shared. Success stories and experiences applied to the local level by municipalities and operators were also presented.
During the seminar, Aventec participated in a roundtable with entities such as Aigües de Mataró SA, Aigües Manresa, Aigües de Catalunya, Prodaisa, and Aigües de Vic SA. These organizations discussed various strategies and innovations to tackle drought and improve water management efficiency. The objective of the seminar is to provide a platform for debate and the exchange of best practices, with the intention of continuing to work together to ensure the availability and quality of water resources in Catalonia.
The seminar, held as part of World Water Day on March 22, 2024, was a resounding success, and we would like to thank ACA for their invitation and the opportunity to participate. We will continue working to ensure efficient and sustainable water use throughout the territory.
